Strategic Teaching for Online Learning  (STOL) courses are online professional development short courses that provide strategies for educators who wish to add online learning to lessons in their classrooms or to gain strategies useful for teaching courses online. Sign up now for the NEA/ISEA Early Enrollment Plan
First-time active members are eligible for the NEA/ISEA early enrollment plan . Just join anytime between  April 1 and August 31, 2009. Between now and September 1, you will have access to liability insurance benefits, select NEA Memer Benefits discount programs, and an Access to Savings membership card. School Counselors Make a Difference
Attention ISEA school counselors! June 15-16, you are invited to an ALL-EXPENSE-PAID symposium sponsored by the Ross Trust at the Stoney Creek Inn, Johnston, IA. The school counselor has a tremendous role in closing the achievement gap. Sixth Annual Mentoring and Induction Institute
The theme for this year's Mentoring and Induction Institute is "Mentoring a Key to Iowa's Future." The Institute will take place June 17-18, 2009 at Park Place Event Center in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Register online at www.vpaf.uni.edu/events/mentor by April 17th to be eligible for reimbursement of expenses.

ISEA Professional Development Academy courses
The ISEA's Professional Development Academy course offerings continue to grow and expand in order to meet the diverse needs of our members. Each of the 15-hour courses is available for either licensure renewal or graduate credit, and they can be offered at the request of a local association or UniServ unit.
